2026-2027 Texas Mentorship Training (TMT) Design Session 2: Ongoing Support for Effective Mentoring - 36839
Design Teams will:
• Develop an onboarding plan that clearly outlines expectations, timelines, and initial supports to prepare mentors for their roles and
responsibilities
• Outline a yearlong support and training plan that includes regular touchpoints, coaching opportunities, and professional learning
aligned to the Mentoring Educator Competencies
• Design a monitoring plan with specific data points, tools, and checkpoints to measure mentor growth, new teacher outcomes, and
fidelity of implementation across campuses

Prerequisite/Special Notes
Participants for this training should be members of their district's PREP Mentorship Design Team and have completed Design Session 1.
