Administration of the Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing Autism (MIGDAS-2) Virtual - 35807
Accurate identification of Autism (AU) requires evaluation methods that capture qualitative differences in social communication, sensory experiences, and patterns of behavior. The MIGDAS-2 provides a structured yet flexible framework for gathering diagnostic information through sensory-based activities and guided interview processes. This session provides an overview of the administration procedures of the MIGDAS-2, including preparation, implementation of the sensory-based protocol, interviewing caregivers and educators, and documenting observations. Participants will review the components of the protocol and discuss considerations for using the MIGDAS-2 within a multidisciplinary evaluation.
