Quest: Unpacking Neurodiversity and Autism in Public Education - April 2024 - 33043

Join Michael Tucker (Region 11), Amber Davies (Region 14), and Jessica Flores (Region 15) as we explore neurodiversity and autism in the school setting. Our special guest for this hour is Hannah Jobe from ESC Region 5. In this session, we will discuss social skills training within the early childhood setting. We will discuss how to identify the social skills students need to learn and then how to teach those skills to the students. We will discuss different strategies to use when teaching social skills to students. This session is aligned with the behavior component(s) of the TEA-required self-assessment. **This virtual PLC format is a collaboration between ESC Regions 11 and 14. The target audience is educators in Regions 11, 14, and 15**
