Evaluation Considerations for a Student who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing and a Specific Learning Disability - 32703
Participants will explore how individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) can also be considered for a Specific Learning Disability (SLD) through the examination of primary and contributory factors while discussing assessment concerns and procedures.

- Review TEAs guidance on Sensory Impairments and Specific Learning Disabilities
- Define primary, contributory, and exclusionary factors
- Present assessment concerns, recommended procedures/tests, and decision-making when determining SLD and Dyslexia in DHH populations
