This session provides school system evaluation staff with an overview of the behavioral threat assessment (BTA) process, with a focus on supporting students with disabilities. Key components of threat assessment will be reviewed, and how they align with special education requirements. Attendees will gain practical insight into supporting students with disabilities during the behavioral threat assessment process. This session is intended for personnel involved in special education evaluations and ARD meetings.
