Key ARD Procedures: PWN, Recessing & Reconvening, and Transfers (Northwest ISD) - 36423
This 3-hour session supports ARD managers in strengthening procedural clarity and consistency across campuses. The training focuses on three commonly misunderstood areas: Prior Written Notice (PWN), recessing and reconvening ARD meetings, and student transfers. Participants will review when each action is required, timelines to consider, and documentation expectations, with opportunities to apply guidance through brief scenarios and examples. The session emphasizes practical decision-making and alignment with state and federal requirements.
