At the end of this training, participants will be able to describe selective mutism is, how it manifests, and its impact on individuals' social and academic lives, list effective assessment techniques to accurately identify selective mutism, and apply evidence-based interventions and practical strategies that speech pathologists and school psychologists can implement collaboratively to support individuals with selective mutism.
