(Keller) School Avoidance: From Root Causes to Restorative Solutions - 36338
This session provides a comprehensive, evidence-based examination of school avoidance, including emotional, behavioral, academic, and environmental factors that contribute to chronic absenteeism. Participants will learn how to identify the function of avoidance behaviors, differentiate between anxiety-based refusal and skill-based barriers, and implement research-supported interventions that promote re-engagement, attendance consistency, and student well-being.
