Using the TOD (Tests of Dyslexia) to Assess for Dyslexia Under IDEA [Decatur ISD] - 35934
This session focuses on the administration and interpretation of the Test of Dyslexia (TOD) as a key tool for identifying dyslexia under IDEA. Participants will delve into the structure and components of the TOD, exploring its alignment with IDEA’s eligibility criteria for Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD). The session will cover best practices for administering the test, analyzing results, and integrating these findings into a comprehensive evaluation. Through practical examples and case studies, attendees will develop the skills to use the TOD effectively in both assessment and eligibility determination. This session is aligned with the evaluation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
