Sing Play Love: Songs and Strategies to Support Young Children with Challenging Behaviors - 34558
Discover how to blend intervention and prevention strategies to support children who exhibit challenging behaviors, while helping all children develop self-regulation, social skills, and emotional understanding. Dr. Anne Meeker Watson, founder of Sing Play Love, will share how music and play-based techniques can enhance classroom practices and complement a range of educational programs and approaches. Learn effective ways to foster positive relationships with children as you teach the foundational social and emotional skills that support learning and development. Each participant will receive an Educator Teaching Kit that includes picture books, video models, and family resources to continue the learning at home. This session is aligned with the instructional strategies and behavior components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
