Evaluation Analysis Part 2: Task Analysis Virtual - 34370

What do I do with divergent or split scores? This session, geared toward educational diagnosticians, is intended to enhance analysis and interpretation skills surrounding standardized assessment measures. During this interactive session, participants will analyze task demands of common cognitive and academic tests to aid in test interpretation. This session is aligned with the evaluation component of the TEA-required self-assessment.

This is part 2 of a 3 part series. You do not have to attend all of the sessions.
Objectives
Participants will identify at least three factors that contribute to divergent or split scores in standardized cognitive and academic assessments, analyze task demands from a provided case study to determine how specific cognitive or academic test subtests may influence overall assessment interpretation, and apply two interpretation strategies for handling divergent or split scores by completing a guided practice activity.
