Outside of the Box: Cultivating Creativity in Gifted Learners 6-Hour GT Update - 36157

This 6-hour GT update invites educators to explore the vital role of creativity within gifted education and to discover practical strategies for nurturing creative potential in all learners. Participants will begin by defining creativity through the lens of gifted education, examining its key characteristics and considering real-world examples that bring the concept to life. Through engaging professional dialogue and reflection, educators will investigate how creativity manifests in their own students and how instructional environments can either foster or hinder its growth. The session includes practice in implementing simple, effective strategies designed to promote creativity in daily classroom practice.
