Dysgraphia: Understanding Graphomotor Skills (Dysgraphia Series, Part 3) Virtual - 36122
This session offers a concise overview of the graphomotor component of dysgraphia, focusing on the foundational skills educational diagnosticians and special education professionals need to identify motor-based writing challenges. Participants will review essential characteristics of graphomotor dysgraphia, explore common assessment tools, and examine brief case examples to understand its impact on students' academic performance. By the end of the session, attendees will have a foundational understanding of graphomotor dysgraphia and be equipped with practical insights for preliminary identification and referral.
This session supports the TEA-required self-assessment for dysgraphia evaluation and is aligned with the evaluation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
