Participants will explore best practices for multidisciplinary collaboration, tools for comprehensive evaluations, and strategies to ensure consistency and clarity in assessment processes. The session emphasizes fostering teamwork among the multidisciplinary team to deliver accurate diagnoses and tailored recommendations for support. This session is aligned with the Behavior, Evaluation and Child Find components of the TEA-required self-assessment

Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will identify at least three key roles within the multidisciplinary team and describe their contributions to an AU assessment; create an action plan to enhance collaboration among team members, ensuring consistent communication and shared decision-making during the assessment process, and analyze a case student to outline the steps of a team-based AU assessment process, including data collection, observation and evaluation.
