Dysgraphia: Understanding Orthographic Processing (Dysgraphia Series, Part 2) Virtual - 36121
This session is designed for educational diagnosticians seeking to deepen their understanding of the orthographic processing deficits that contribute to dysgraphia. Participants will explore the foundational concepts of orthographic processing, including its impact on spelling, handwriting, and overall written expression. Through interactive discussions attendees will learn how to identify signs of orthographic processing difficulties in students and differentiate these from other underlying causes of dysgraphia. The session will also cover effective assessment strategies and intervention techniques to support students in developing their orthographic processing skills and enhancing their writing abilities.
This session is aligned with the evaluation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
