Participants will experience a DBQ as learners, then shift to the teacher perspective to explore strategies for building content knowledge, literacy, and critical thinking. Teachers will leave with practical tools to increase the use of primary sources, rigor and higher-order thinking, and authentic writing opportunities in their classroom.
