Feifer Assessment of Writing/Feifer Assessment of Math Training (Stephenville ISD) - 35495
Designed for educational diagnosticians, this session provides an in-depth look at the Feifer Assessment of Writing (FAW) and the Feifer Assessment of Mathematics (FAM). Participants will explore how these tools go beyond achievement scores to examine the underlying cognitive and neuropsychological processes that impact student performance. Through case examples and guided interpretation, diagnosticians will learn how to analyze FAW and FAM results to better understand specific learning challenges in written expression and mathematics. The session will also include guidance on integrating results into Full and Individual Evaluations (FIEs), linking findings to instructional needs, and aligning interpretations with TEA SLD guidance and CHC theory. This session is aligned with the evaluation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
