Introduction to the Woodcock-Johnson V (WJ V) - 35334
This comprehensive introductory training provides participants with a foundational understanding of the Woodcock-Johnson V (WJ V) assessment system, including the Tests of Cognitive Abilities, Tests of Achievement, and the Virtual Test Library (VTL). Participants will explore the structure, purpose, and scoring components of each battery, and learn how to use these tools to assess cognitive processing, academic achievement, and learning patterns. The session will also include a side-by-side comparison of the WJ IV and WJ V, highlighting key updates and implications for assessment practices. Emphasis will be placed on hands-on administration and scoring practice to build confidence and accuracy in test administration.
This session is aligned with the evaluation component of the TEA-required self-assessment.
