Transition Essentials with Wise County Co-op - 35270
This professional development session for the Wise County Co-op will focus on strengthening educators’ skills in writing appropriate and measurable postsecondary goals, selecting and using effective transition assessments, and designing coordinated sets of activities for students with disabilities. Participants will engage in interactive activities to review current practices, refine their understanding of compliance and best practices, and collaboratively develop tools and resources to support transition planning. The session includes opportunities for hands-on practice, peer discussion, and resource sharing. This session aligns with the Self-Assessment and SPPI components of secondary transition.
