Evaluating Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students Assessing Students in Spanish for the Bilingual Evaluator: Selecting, Administering and Analyzing Results - 34176
This session is intended for bilingual evaluators, however a monolingual evaluator or someone who supervises these team members would benefit from this session as well. Dr. Holman, a bilingual diagnostician will provide an overview of the various assessments available to our bilingual evaluators. Participants will learn how to select and interpret results in light of the individual student's first and second language development and other factors. Dr. Holman will discuss various imitations and challenges when evaluating a student in Spanish using a norm referenced tool.
