In the Know: Evaluation Staff Updates Virtual - 34175

We invite you to participate in these collaboration/update opportunities that have been specifically designed for special education evaluation personnel. Participants will have the chance to connect with colleagues in the region, discuss best practices in the field, and gain insights into the latest evaluation practices and tools. During this session, a due process case will be reviewed. Questions from the field will also be discussed. This session is aligned with the evaluation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.

Objectives
Engage in collaborative discussions with at least 2 regional colleagues to exchange best practices and challenges in special education evaluations via virtual breakout rooms. Identify 3 key evaluation practices or tools that align with the TEA-required self-assessment through an interactive presentation and virtual poll. Analyze and discuss the implications of a due process case by answering 3 case-related questions in a virtual group discussion.
