Sing. Play. Love. - Just Seven Skills - 33185
Now more than ever, early childhood education requires a reset that includes joy and engagement. Join Ann Meeker Watson, the director of Sing.Play.Love., as she shares age-appropriate strategies for nurturing the development of every child. The "Just Seven Skills" framework simplifies the vast number of learning objectives early childhood educators face, distilling them into seven essential skills. By integrating beloved activities like music, books, and play into daily routines, teachers can infuse joy and purposeful teaching of foundational social-emotional skills into their interactions with children. Participants will receive the "Just Seven Skills" kit, which includes seven picture books, corresponding play and learning activities, and visual supports.
This session is aligned with the Instructional Strategies component of the TEA-required self-assessment.
