REACHing New Heights: Crafting High-Level Questions for Advanced Thinkers (GT Summit) - 30353

This session is part of the ESC Region 11 GT Summit, a one-day event designed to offer educators a personalized GT Update tailored to their specific needs through engaging and targeted learning experiences. This session counts as 1.5 hours of GT Update credit with a focus on differentiated curriculum for gifted learners. Reaching the summit of deep learning begins with a spark of curiosity. Thoughtfully crafted questions can ignite engagement, challenge assumptions, and push gifted and advanced learners to explore ideas more deeply. This session introduces the REACH framework—Ranking, Ethics, Affective, Connections, and Hypothetical—as a powerful tool for designing differentiated, high-level questions that inspire critical, creative, and reflective thinking.
