Municipal Traffic Safety Initiatives (MTSI) Overview - 35050
Did you know that the TEKS and traffic safety can be learned in the same lesson? Not only that but traffic law and mock trials can be combined with the TEKS from every core subject as well. The Texas Municipal Courts Education Center and Texas Law-Related Education/State Bar of Texas have created curriculum units that incorporate Texas traffic safety into engaging lessons for K-12 classrooms. These lessons use hands-on materials, interesting graphics, and easy to follow instructions. All teachers attending this session will receive, free of charge, ready to use materials, and curricula for use in the classroom.
