Speech-Language Pathology Summer Conference 2022 - 29388
The Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Summer Conference 2022 is a one-day, virtual event dedicated to providing professional development to Region 11 Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants. This year, the conference will include Nina Reeves, CCC-SLP, ASHA Fellow, presenting "Exploring Stuttering Therapy: Have You Met ALL the Strategies?". In addition, Emily Homer, CCC-SLP, ASHA Fellow, and Lissa Power-deFur, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, BCS-CL, will present "Ethical Decision Making When Addressing Feeding Disorders in the Schools." Come learn from experts in the field AND earn CEUs that you can use for your licensure, including two hours of ethics!

Objectives
After attending the conference, participants will be able to:
1. Outline five areas in the framework of stuttering therapy
2. List at least three activities to prepare students who stutter for success
3. Demonstrate at least five strategies for helping children who stutter increase their ease of communication
4. Summarize the ethical considerations when addressing feeding and swallowing in the schools
5. List two resources to support ethical decision making for SLPs
