Behavior Lunch & Learn Friday: Antecedent-Based Interventions Virtual - 37065
Antecedent-based strategies are evidence-based interventions that focus on preventing challenging behavior and promoting success by making intentional changes to the environment, routines, or interactions that occur before a behavior happens. These strategies are designed to set individuals up for success by increasing predictability, reducing triggers, and providing supports that encourage appropriate behavior and engagement. Antecedent-based strategies can include adjusting tasks, modifying the environment, providing choices, using visual supports, or changing instructional practices to better meet an individual's needs.
