Texas LRE: Teaching Texas: A Look at Texas Government and History - 36486
This Law-Related Education interactive institute provides opportunities for exploring the TEKS in Government and History from a Texas perspective. Experience hands-on lessons that allow learners to engage with the content and gain a deeper understanding of our state.
Collaborate with other educators as you implement lessons and strategies that support student success and enrich the existing curriculum.
This institute is designed for both 4th and 7th-grade teachers. Educators will explore resources created for their specific grade level. Participants will leave with practical strategies and resources to make learning come alive for all students in their classrooms.

Texas Biography Cards
Learn how to use these resources to examine the political, economic, and social significance of events. Registration is free, and lunch will be provided.
