Dyslexia Evaluation (Keller ISD) - 36118
This session dives into three underlying cognitive processes linked to dyslexia: phonological processing, orthographic processing, and rapid automatic naming. The session will explore how weaknesses in these areas manifest in reading, spelling, and written expression. Attendees will leave with practical strategies and tools to assess each area formally and informally and to connect cognitive data with academic outcomes. This session is aligned with the evaluation and dyslexia components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
