Braille Talk: Tactile Graphics and Braille Production Online - 35759
During these four, specialized, virtual sessions, Sue O'Brien from the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI) will provide expert guidance on creating Braille materials, including math problems and tactile graphics, tailored for students who are blind or visually impaired. Each session will address different learning tools to create tactually accessible learning materials. These sessions addresses Special Education Self-Assessment indicators 12 and 18.

Prerequisite/Special Notes
Participants should be Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments, Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists, or staff that produces Braille materials for students
Objectives
Participants will utilize three accessible learning tools to create tactually accessible learning materials for blind and visually impaired students.
