Science Academy for Grades 3-5: Day One: Matter and Energy - 33049
Join ESC Region 11 for an in-depth exploration into elementary science curriculum and instruction. In Day One of the Science Academy, teachers will explore topics within the matter and energy strand, applied to the science and engineering practices (SEPs) and recurring themes and concepts (RTCs). Topics covered in this session will include explicit instruction of science concepts, science models, properties of matter, states of matter, thermal energy, and mixtures and solutions.
