Curriculum Overview Training: Navigating Life for Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing - 34727

This training will provide information to professionals working with high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) regarding the innovative course, Navigating Life for Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Participants will learn information such as how to get approval for the course to be offered in their local high schools, curriculum goals, and the importance of students in this age range acquiring necessary transition skills for postsecondary outcomes. This training addresses the following indicators from the Special Education Self-Assessment: 15, 22, and 23.
