This professional development session focuses on understanding Gestalt Language Development and strategies to progress language skills to meaningful communication. Gestalt Language Development emphasizes the holistic approach to language acquisition, emphasizing comprehension and expression as integrated components. Participants will explore the principles of Gestalt Language Development and learn practical strategies to support individuals in progressing toward spontaneous, meaningful communication, including goal setting and AAC needs.
