Join us for an insightful professional development session designed to empower educators with the skills and knowledge to effectively use alternative forms of communication in the classroom. This session will focus on the integration of visual aids and picture-based communication systems to enhance participation, learning, and behavior management for students with special needs. By the end of this session, participants will be equipped with practical strategies to use alternative forms of communication, ultimately leading to increased student engagement, enhanced learning experiences, and improved classroom behavior for students with special needs. This session is aligned with the behavior and instructional strategies components of the TEA-Required Self-Assessment and TEA Identified Areas of Non-Compliance. 0.5 ASHA CEUs offered
