Transition Matters! (All Counties) Virtual - 33984
This regional transition meeting will provide updates and general information for all ESC Region 11 LEAs on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) updated in the Commissioner of Education rules related to transition. Texas A&M will also present on the Work-Based Learning Project for LEAs interested in developing authentic work experiences for high school students with disabilities. This session is aligned with the IEP Content and Development and transition component(s) of the TEA-required self-assessment and SPP Indicator 13.

Charter School Personnel, Teacher - Special Education, Transition Specialists to Transition Personnel, Paraprofessionals, Teacher - General Education, VAC (Vocational Adjustment Coordinators)
Objectives
Educators will review and outline the requirement of the revised updated Commissioner of Education rules related to IEPs and the development of postsecondary goals for students at age 14.
