Teaching American History: Supreme Court Cases That Changed America - 32142

Many Supreme Court cases have shaped our history and established legal precedent. This seminar will focus on the Constitution and Federalism, the Constitution and the Commerce Clause, and will conclude with a look at significant Civil Rights cases and their opinions. This program will be conducted as a conversation among peers, using primary documents as the only readings, and the Discussion Leader will be facilitating, not lecturing. Registrants are highly encouraged to read the documents shared prior to the session and come with questions. Lunch will be provided.
