Maximizing the Potential of Mathematical Writing in Secondary Mathematics - 31339
In this three-hour session, participants will analyze student writing samples to gain insights about mathematical thinking, depth of knowledge, and misconceptions to capitalize on the insights about student thinking. Participants will also explore strategies for including writing opportunities in their secondary math classrooms to assess and advance student learning understanding.
