The Power of the Read-Aloud - 31169
Do your read-alouds lack power? Despite your best attempts, do they fail to pack a punch? Every read-aloud provides the opportunity to build a strong foundation of literacy and oral language, which your students will use for the rest of their lives. In this session, you will learn strategies for engaging students before, during, and after reading through the use of interactive read-alouds. You'll leave with a plan for read-alouds that you can use with your students starting the first day of school. You will leave this session with the POWER to rock your read-aloud!
