Writing Appropriate Measurable Postsecondary Goals (Virtual) Virtual - 30620
This virtual training will give educators the information and tools they need to write appropriate measurable postsecondary goals as part of a student's transition plan. Learning to write appropriate measurable postsecondary goals is the foundation for building quality transition services for students with disabilities.
The Zoom link for this session will be emailed to registrants one week before the scheduled session date. LEAs within ESC Region 11 must register at www.esc11.net to attend at no cost and to receive CPE credits.
Audiences
Teacher - High School (Grades 9-12), Teacher - Middle School (Grades 6-8), VAC (Vocational Adjustment Coordinators), Counselors, Transition Specialists to Transition Personnel
Prerequisite/Special Notes
Research indicates that training with a coaching component can lead to improved teacher practice and student outcomes.
