Planet Earth is dynamic and ever changing. The constant movement within the Earth's interior influences major geological events. Understanding the different layers, including their composition, movements, and interactions can help us understand when, how, where, and why geological events occur. Using technology, models, and hands-on manipulatives, teachers will grow in content understanding and have ideas and investigations ready to take back to their classrooms for use with students. Strategies embedded in the session will help teachers make content accessible for struggling learners and English Learners as well as challenging for gifted learners.
