This session is designed to equip secondary diagnosticians and ARD managers with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively support transition in the IEP. Participants will explore key components of transition planning in the IEP, including age-appropriate transition assessments and functional vocational evaluations, transition goals, agency collaboration, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Through case studies, discussion, and hands-on activities, attendees will gain practical strategies to support meaningful and compliant transition plans in the IEP.
