Adolescent Development Course Online - 36934
The purpose of this course is to ensure that you understand the components of adolescent development and the impact of variables on that development. To support your understanding, this course will discuss aspects of trauma and critical factors for supporting students during difficult times. This course uses the Whole Child Model to discuss facets of development that can be interrupted by experiences such as homelessness and how school personnel can best support students.

Objectives
Participants will be able to explain how adolescent development influences behavior, learning, and decision-making, and identify at least one developmentally appropriate practice they will implement to better support adolescents.
