Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) represent some of the most impactful shifts needed to close the gap between research and classroom practice. Focusing on Foundational Skills, Text Complexity, Knowledge Coherence, and Text-Based Responses, this session will equip instructional leaders with practical strategies to support teachers in implementing these evidence-based approaches effectively. Participants will explore ways to sustain these instructional shifts and provide ongoing support to ensure successful classroom implementation. Please note: This session does not provide the TEA RLA RBIS certification. Instead, it is designed specifically for instructional leaders who support teachers in the implementation of research-based instructional practices.
