The McKinney-Vento Course for Teachers Online - 36868

Enhance your understanding of the McKinney-Vento Act with this self-paced online course designed specifically for teachers. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: understand the purpose of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, define homelessness under the McKinney-Vento Act, recognize key indicators that aid in identifying students experiencing homelessness, and explore trauma-informed practices. Participants will also be able to identify and use the school system's McKinney-Vento liaison for reporting and addressing suspected cases of student homelessness.
