Conscious Discipline: Defiance or Distress - 36860
This training, the newest in the series from Conscious Discipline, helps educators rethink defiance as a sign of distress or unmet needs rather than as intentional disrespect. Participants will learn how to respond to opposition with assertive, compassionate communication that teaches boundaries while preserving relationships by doing the following: 1) Identifying the difference between defiance and stress-based behavior, and 2) Using assertive language and connection to redirect without power struggles.
