Building Blocks of Social and Emotional Development Virtual - 37070

This course provides educators with practical strategies to support the social and emotional development of young learners, particularly in special education settings. Participants will explore the why, when, and how of teaching social-emotional skills, reflect on their own adult mindsets, and identify key social skills that promote positive behavior and relationships. This course also highlights the importance of helping children name emotions, develop self-regulation, and apply effective classroom strategies and resources to support skill development.
