Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) Palo Pinto, Erath, Parker, Somervell, Hood Counties - 36737
T-TESS is the state-recommended appraisal system designed to support teachers in their professional development and help them grow and improve as educators. This three-day workshop prepares learners to take an asynchronous online certification test following the training.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TRAINING WILL BE HELD AT SANTO HIGH SCHOOL, BUT IS OPEN TO ANY LEA.

Principals, Assistant Principals, Central Office Administrators, Charter School Personnel, Principal Certification Candidate
Prerequisite/Special Notes
There is no prerequisite for taking this training. T-TESS appraisers, however, must also be certified in Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) or its predecessor, Instructional Leadership Development (ILD). T-TESS and AEL may be taken in either order.
Objectives
Teacher appraisers evaluate instruction and provide feedback to teachers using the T-TESS rubric and conference structure, based on classroom observation videos, and collaborate with partners to become certified appraisers through a post-training assessment.
