Learn how to intentionally plan for differentiation in the ELAR classroom using the Depth and Complexity framework. In this session, educators in grades 3–12 will explore practical strategies for designing lessons that push students beyond surface-level understanding and promote deeper thinking about texts. Participants will examine ways to incorporate Depth and Complexity icons to extend learning, increase rigor, and provide meaningful challenges for a range of learners. Walk away with ready-to-use planning tools and instructional strategies that help all students engage with literature and informational texts at a deeper level.
