The McKinney-Vento Course for Coaches and Fine Arts Teachers Online - 37092
Enhance your understanding of the McKinney-Vento Act with this self-paced, online course specifically designed for coaches and fine arts teachers. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: understand the purpose of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, define homelessness under the McKinney-Vento Act, recognize key indicators that aid in identifying students experiencing homelessness, and explore trauma-informed practices. Participants will also be able to identify and use their LEA (Local Education Agency; district or charter school) liaison contact for reporting and addressing suspected student homelessness cases.

Objectives
