Super Hero Approach to Trauma - 36396

This workshop is intended to provide participants with information and evidence-based strategies for dealing with the challenges of working in highly stressful and emotionally charged professions. By combining Superhero Storytelling with practices designed to help us better manage powerful emotional states, we can learn how to develop psychological resiliency and improve our ability to help those in need without being overwhelmed and burned out by the stressful nature of our work.

Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will be able to apply Superhero Storytelling with inspiration to explore the neuroscience of emotions, implementing regulation of emotional states, leading to psychological resiliency to develop strong coping strategies for overwhelm and burnout. Each participant will develop Super-Cognition skills for more effective collaboration, interpersonal communication, critical decision-making and plans to enhance work/life balance.
