Handwriting without Tears Print and Cursive - 36252
Participants will engage in hands on learning with program materials as well as participate in collaborative learning, peer networking, and action planning. Educators will leave with a complete understanding of how to implement the HWT Print and Cursive Curriculums with students and strategies for basic differentiation, modification, and remediation. This session is aligned with the intervention component of the TEA-required self-assessment

Objectives
At the end of the session, participants will be able to Identify the four steps of explicit handwriting instruction that can be applied when teaching or remediating print and cursive skills, select effective hands-on, multisensory activities to teach handwriting skills including grip, position concepts, letter formation and cursive connections, and choose two strategies that can be used to help students generalize cursive handwriting skills across all subjects
